Tasks

-Participates in the preparation of Safe Work Method Statements and JSA cards in conjunction with work crews and ensures that all controls are effectively implemented and regularly reviewed. -Ensures compliance with all ACEREZ D&C management system procedures including Plant Operator Assessments, verifies Daily Checklists, Weekly Checklists and works with Permits where required. -Ensures that project team completes all outstanding defects as a matter of priority. -Ensure all workers have received a project specific induction that explains all hazards present on the project and the control measures to be followed before beginning working activities. -Ensures non-conformances are recorded and corrective actions initiated. -Takes responsibility for the quality of work under their supervision. -Ensures that all construction works undertaken and completed are in conformance with the specification and relevant standards and Code of Practice -Ensuring all relevant regulatory requirements are satisfied. -Checks to ensure whatever actions are required under Hold and Witness Points have been performed prior to commencing work. -Provides positive leadership to subcontractors, monitors and controls their performance and ensures the quality and standard of workmanship is performed. -Adopt a zero tolerance to work practices and equipment that may be unsafe or have serious adverse Safety or environmental impact. -Ensure all construction works meet specifications and relevant standards -Provides positive leadership to subcontractors, monitors and controls their performance and ensures the quality and standard of workmanship is performed

What You Bring

-Experience in managing subcontractors to ensure compliance with specifications and procedures -Competent in planning and organising work schedules. -Clear communication - verbal and written. -Understands specifications and drawings -Preferable 5+ years' experience in electrical, civil, structural, cables termination, commissioning or in the management of other relevant trade packages as a supervisor -Demonstrated ability to work effectively with others. -Must be able to issue clear directions to construction workers. -Good at multi-tasking and demonstrates sound judgments, including balancing competing issues. -Presented problem solving / analytical skills. -Working knowledge of HS&E requirements and implementation of same -Demonstrated relevant leadership skills. -Experience working on large scale renewable energy transmission lines, energy hubs and substations or infrastructure style projects -Self-confident and able to persuade, convince or impress others to gain their commitment and co-operation to a course of action.

Benefits

Supervisor positions are DIDO 14 days onsite in camp style accommodation and 7 days off site, on a roster-based arrangement out of the Central West Orana Region, Please note: This position is being delivered as part of a joint venture between two organisations.
