Tasks

The QA/QC Engineer is responsible for implementing site quality assurance and quality control system, in compliance with the quality standards at site. -Translate deep understanding of quality standards and requirements into site works. -Obtain buy-in from project team towards quality assurance and quality control initiatives. -Liaise with authorities (i.e. BCA on assessment to achieve target score, LTA on inspections and compliances) -Lead the QA/QC team and train the site team on Structural and Architectural trades; -Assess site operations and procedures daily and recommend improvement actions; -Conduct Internal Quality Audits; -Engage the project team to deliver high quality works; -Prepare monthly reports for Management; -Adhere to safety practices in the workplace. -Compile trade information, test reports, and formalize documentation; -Provide insights for defects and recommend preventive measures;

What You Bring

-Education: Degree in Civil Engineering or construction related field -Experience in QA/QC and certified auditors would have an added advantage. -Completed at least 1 building project -Quality Management Systems certification – ISO 9000 -Knowledge of quality requirement of BCA, industry norms and contract specifications -Knowledge in Structural and Architectural works -Experience: At least 3 years of building and/or civil engineering experience.
