The Role

Overview

Support Company Secretary with governance, meetings, records, and finance tasks.

Tasks

-Provide advice on governance, legal, accounting, and tax implications during meetings. -Organize, prepare agendas for, and take minutes of board meetings and AGMs. -Assist with finance-related tasks, excluding accounting, as required by the finance department. -Assist the Company Secretary Head with managing meetings and legal compliance. -Ensure timely distribution of meeting documents and notices (including shorter notices when required). -Maintain statutory books and records, including registers of members, directors, and secretaries. -Liaise with external regulators, auditors, and legal advisors to ensure compliance and support legal and regulatory processes. -Prepare and maintain secretarial records in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. -Handle correspondence, collect relevant information, and prepare reports. -Ensure decisions from meetings are communicated to all relevant stakeholders in a timely manner. -Prepare attendance sheets and director’s reports.

What You Bring

-Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills. -Proficiency in Microsoft Office and company secretarial software. -Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. -Knowledge of corporate governance, legal compliance, and regulatory requirements. -Proactive, reliable, and adaptable. -Ability to work independently and as part of a team. -Previous experience in a company secretarial or legal support role is preferred. -Attention to detail and high level of accuracy. -Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or related field.
