The Role

Overview

Perform preventive/reactive maintenance on Chick‑fil‑A kitchen equipment and HVAC in Memphis area.

Tasks

-Maintain a neat and orderly service vehicle, along with accurate parts and tool inventory. -Engage with Chick-fil-A’s equipment partners (Suppliers, Manufacturers, Vendors) and any programs impacting assets within the CSN scope of services. -Produce accurate and timely administrative documents, such as work orders, time reporting, receipts, and truck stock inventory. -Monitor and support continuous training and certifications by Chick-fil-A OEM’s and updates partner on program process changes. -bend over to pick up items from ground level, turn from side to side. -Properly troubleshoot, diagnose, repair and install/removal Commercial Kitchen Equipment, including cooking, refrigeration, other specialty foodservice equipment and base building HVAC systems. -Support restaurant operators through a comprehensive service solution for commercial cooking, refrigeration, other specialty foodservice equipment and base building HVAC systems. -use arms, wrists, and hands to grasp, squeeze, manipulate or operate machinery frequently during the day. -Ensure completion of onboarding process and training. -Communicate with manufacturers as needed to help with diagnoses and parts identification. -Maintain productivity levels in accordance with company standards. -Support equipment reporting to help leadership with equipment forecasting, rollouts, and proactive replacements. -Consult with the Chick-fil-A Technical Assistance Team for technical support while onsite. -walk on even or uneven surfaces frequently during the day. -Install all parts ordered for the operators in a timely and professional manner and in line with establish service level agreements. -Follow safe work practices and accident prevention procedures.

What You Bring

-Ability to read diagrams and schematics. -Willing to carry and utilize company or emergency phone when required. -Good computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and with the ability to use proprietary mobile application to capture service. -Ability to Drive/Operate company vehicles to and from various properties. -Ability to take initiative and recognize a need to act without prompting from supervisor. -climb stairs, step stools or ladders up to 2 stories high (with ladder safety training), twist, crouch, kneel or crawl frequently during the course of a day. -Solid mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and working knowledge of appropriate tools, gauges, meters, etc. in the execution of work required. -EPA Universal Certification (Hydrocarbon Refrigerant Certification a plus HC “A3” & HFO “A2L”) -Must be legally able to work in United States -to lift, carry, pull, or push 50 lbs. -High School Diploma or GED equivalent -Unwavering Positive Service Attitude with the ability to maintain a friendly, helpful attitude, and demonstrate empathy to CFA Operators and Vendors. -Able to speak, read and write English competently. -Ability to operate an asset without direct supervision. -Must possess and maintain a valid State issued driver’s license and proof of Insurance. -Computer proficient, able to learn company software programs. -Ability to work extended periods of time without relief when responding to priority/emergency situations (including overtime type assignments) -Excellent oral and written communication skills. -Technical Trade School with relevant experience and technical acumen. -Minimum of 5+ years of related trade experience in service work for kitchen equipment, construction, and/or facilities management. -State Issued Electrical and/or HVAC Licensed not required, but highly valued -tolerate changes in weather and be able to complete tasks inside and outside.
