Tasks

The Engineer will support operational continuity across mobile applications, website, and self-service devices, ensuring high system availability and rapid response to incidents. The role requires a strong understanding of operating systems, monitoring platforms, disaster recovery procedures, and 24/7 operational support. -Work with monitoring systems, microservice protection tools, and manage OS upgrades. -Analyze evaluations and audit findings; develop corrective action plans and ensure compliance. -Provide 24/7 operational support, including troubleshooting for applications, OS, and network issues. -Monitor digital channels and identify issues affecting business continuity. -Support the Department Manager and perform operational and administrative tasks in line with RTA standards. -Achieve and maintain high levels of system availability, performance, and service continuity. -Identify, analyze, and resolve software and hardware incidents affecting digital services. -Coordinate with technical teams, service providers, and government entities for IT operations. -Ensure strict adherence to RTA Information Security policies, guidelines, incident reporting, and data-sharing procedures. -Design, implement, test, and document disaster recovery plans for systems and networks. -Supervise and follow up on assigned tasks to ensure required quality and timelines. -Assess enhancement requirements and recommend improvements for future systems. -Ensure full understanding of integration and touch-point functions with other dependent systems.

Technical Skills -Operating systems (Unix, Linux, SQL, Windows) -Demonstrate strong knowledge across Unix, Linux, SQL, and Windows operating systems. -0–2 years of experience in digital services operations, IT support, or related technical roles. -Multi-tasking and prioritization -Incident detection and troubleshooting -Analytical and problem-solving skills -Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Engineering from a recognized university. -Risk and compliance awareness -Understand and support mobile apps, web services, and self-service kiosk systems. -Quality and business excellence understanding
