Tasks

-Register and license all vehicles under fleet responsibility -Develops and manages the fleet budget -Interface with regulatory agencies as required, ensure compliance and reporting requirements are met -Manage driver schedules to maximize profits and efficiencies -Provide leadership to ensure all company safety rules and regulations in accordance with regulatory agencies are observed by employees. This includes planning the necessary resources in manpower and budgeting to accomplish site safety goals and administer safety initiatives -Maintain detailed records of vehicle maintenance, servicing and inspection -Develop strategies for greater fuel efficiency and cost savings -Ensure execution of the daily delivery plan, working as a team member with other departments to maximize efficiencies/production.

What You Bring

-Demonstrable teamwork and maturity with a strong work ethic -Positive and proactive attitude with ability to address issues and implement solutions -Fluency in spoken and written English -Prior experience demonstrating effective management skills -Proven in leading operational excellence through applying behavior-based management -5+ years of Fleet Management experience; experience in heavy industrial manufacturing environment, industry background in manufacturing related to mining, paper mills, steel plants, refractory, heavy equipment fabrication, stone processing, cement plants, etc. preferred. -Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor of Science in Logistics or related field. -Mobile Maintenance background preferred -Demonstrated success in cultural “turn around” a plus
