Tasks

-Represent BU at internal and external EHS forums, conferences, and industry associations. -Conduct regular audits and workplace inspections to identify and eliminate unsafe conditions and practices. -Develop and conduct EHS training, workshops, and awareness programs to build competency and safety ownership across the workforce. -Drive digital initiatives and implement innovative tools for EHS monitoring, reporting, and analytics. -Liaise with government authorities and statutory bodies for compliance, audits, and inspections. -Monitor and analyze EHS performance indicators and present monthly dashboards and reports to BU leadership. -Provide leadership, guidance, and mentoring to EHS teams across projects. -Drive participation in national and international EHS awards and benchmarking programs to enhance organizational reputation. -Identify and assess potential risks and establish preventive and control measures. -Lead root cause analyses of incidents and ensure timely corrective and preventive actions. -Implement engineering controls and process improvements for permanent risk mitigation. -Drive implementation of ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 standards and ensure continual improvement of the EHS Management System (EHSMS). -Collaborate closely with cross-functional leaders to embed EHS in planning and execution. -Ensure full compliance with applicable environmental, occupational health, and safety regulations. -Champion a 'Zero Tolerance' and 'Accident-Free' culture within the BU. -Maintain up-to-date records, reports, and documentation as per internal and external audit requirements. -Develop, implement, and monitor BU-level EHS policies, programs, and objectives aligned with corporate strategy and statutory requirements.
