Test and survey fire systems, emergency lighting, and perform BWOF inspections.

Tasks

-Maintain safe practices including tools as required by the EH&S regulations -Participate in training provided by the Company and outside sources to keep abreast and ahead of developments in the industry and to improve your own skills -To notify the supervisor or manager of any safety hazards in the working environment -Effectively undertake work and to fully utilise the Company’s resources and exceed customer expectations -Maintain a high level of service -Ensure timekeeping and timesheets are as required and accurate -Communicate and liaise with the supervisor to ensure efficient undertaking of all work -Ensure company property in their charge such as materials, plant, tools and equipment are maintained in a safe and efficient working condition -Maintain a tidy area in the vicinity of the Fire sprinkler valve room and fire system control panels

What You Bring

-Demonstration of enthusiasm towards products and services both used and provided by the company -Proficient computer skills -Full NZ driver’s license -Ability to work from drawings would be advantageous -New Zealand residency/citizenship or a valid New Zealand work visa -Excellent communication skills with a can-do attitude
