Tasks

-The Purchasing Admin will be the main line of communication between LF Studios, and our manufacturing vendors. It will be critical to keep an open line of communication, understanding capacity, identify potential bottlenecks, and flag delays to the project team. -Develop memos that monitor and track progress of parts. -This role will utilize part drawings and CAD to receive quotes for components. -General procurement and receiving support as needed to keep the process running smoothly. -Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs. -Measure project performance and report to management as needed. -The Purchasing Admin is responsible for supporting the design and engineering team in purchasing all machined components, hardware, and off-the-shelf components. -This role will track all purchased components through their procurement process using Excel Spreadsheets. It will be necessary to display tracking information in a way to allow other departments to understand and react to the data. -Ensure standards are understood and withheld between all vendors including providing material certifications, hitting required tolerances, ensuring the timeline is met.

What You Bring

-Excel will be heavily utilized so experience with the software is required. -Adobe Acrobat. -Experience with Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel. -Ability to handle and track large amounts of data in spreadsheets. -Must have great communication skills and the ability to easily adapt to changing circumstances.
