Tasks

As a Technical Coating Leader, you’ll work with a global team of engineers and scientists to develop advanced ceramic and thermal barrier coating technologies for stationary gas turbines and other applications supporting the energy transition. You’ll lead the full lifecycle of new coating technologies—from development and qualification to industrialization and production. You will collaborate with internal teams, external suppliers, and research institutions, including supporting public funding initiatives. -Analyze requirements for high-temperature coating applications -Develop new coating materials and manufacturing processes -Serve as the technical link between design, manufacturing, quality, suppliers, and research partners -Support public funding proposals for R&D initiatives

What You Bring

-Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship) -Professional experience with ceramic coatings or thermal barrier coatings (TBCs) -Project management experience; fluency in English (German a plus); ability to travel internationally -Bachelor’s degree (materials science, materials engineering, chemical or mechanical engineering) or equivalent experience -Strong understanding of high-temperature materials, oxidation/corrosion protection, and coating technologies
