Field Service Engineer

Overview

Install, commission, and service power and temperature control equipment on customer sites.

Tasks

-Installation of power products on customer site -Attend equipment breakdowns -Deliver TC/MC applications -Service and maintain Diesel driven Generators to a high standard -Carry out F Gas checks -Deliver no break sync applications - grid lock -Commission of TC products on customer site -Telemetry installation in field -Installation of TC products on customer site -Commission and decommissioning of power products on customer site -Deliver generator applications - Motor starting and variable voltage -Carry out load testing using sigma PC software

What You Bring

-Experience of Generator controls, Deepsea, Dief etc. -Able to manage a client’s expectations when under pressure, regardless of the situation -For all field roles – offshore work is required so individual must be trained or willing to be trained. -Must be able to work out of hours as and when required, and be part of the on-call rota -Be able to operate fleet load bank -Good organisational & communication skills -Fit data loggers & power analysers -Technical capability (power and ideally temperature control) -Must hold a full, clean and valid driving licence -Good level of PC literacy including basic MS Office applications -A City and Guilds/ONC level 3 qualification or equivalent (Mechanical and or Electrical) -Well organised and capable of keeping vehicle to GSCS standards
