The Role

Overview

Assist in geotechnical engineering tasks, calculations, drafting, site work, and project support.

Tasks

-Conduct site visits, field inspections, and data collection as needed. -Perform basic engineering calculations and analyses under the guidance of senior engineers. -Participate in internal project meetings and collaborate with other disciplines. -Support design and drafting efforts using AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D. -Assist in the preparation of engineering plans, specifications, and reports. -Support project managers in project delivery, including budgeting and scheduling tasks. -Assist with permitting, regulatory compliance, and coordination with clients and agencies.

What You Bring

-1-5 years of relevant experience in geotechnical engineering or related field -Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office Suite. -Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. -EIT certification (or ability to obtain within 12 months). -Exposure to relevant software such as MicroStation, HEC-RAS, or stormwater modeling tools preferred -Internship or co-op experience in civil engineering preferred. -Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. -Strong written and verbal communication skills.
