Tasks

-Develop single-line diagrams and load schedules -Prepare schematic designs -Conduct field investigations -Produce meeting reports and punch lists -Review existing as-built drawings -Perform energy calculations using EnergyPro or IES VE -Engineer normal, emergency, and renewable power systems -Perform routine engineering work using standard techniques -Conduct basic engineering calculations -Perform feasibility studies -Participate in construction meetings and provide clarifications -Set up drawings and models for multiple disciplines -Conduct Arc Flash, Short Circuit, and Coordination Power System Studies -Review submittals and respond to RFIs -Design lighting systems and controls -Prepare construction estimates and specifications for small projects -Independently develop small reports and peer review small projects -Coordinate design schedules and deliverables

What You Bring

-Revit (a plus) -Experience with low-voltage building systems (Fire Alarm, Security, Voice/Data, Nurse Call) is a plus -2–7 years of engineering design experience post-graduation or equivalent professional experience -Net Zero Energy/Carbon design (a plus) -California Building Code (a plus) -Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field -Prior experience working on healthcare/hospital buildings preferred -HCAI experience (a plus) -National Electrical Code (a plus) -LEED Accreditation is a plus -Engineer-In-Training (EIT) Certification preferred
