Tasks

-Assembling and managing bid, approval, and construction issue Instrumentation packages in an efficient and lean manner -Providing support to fee and capital budget proposals as required -Attending and participating in client and PM Group meetings -Analysing complex engineering problems and offering effective solutions -Participate in project site visits to monitor, review and assist sign-off Instrument installations -Mentoring Instrumentation engineering staff at junior levels, as required

What You Bring

-Advanced knowledge of all applicable Instrumentation engineering codes, standards and acceptable industry practices -Demonstrable advanced experience in the complete suite of Instrumentation engineering design services including (but not limited to): -Extensive and independent contact with clients, vendor’s representatives and project field personnel -Strong verbal and written communication skills required with the ability to prepare written specifications and contract documents -5+ years of formal experience in industrial engineering design -Proficient in the use of Smart Plant Instrumentation (SPI) & digital project delivery is an advantage -Commercially aware and have the ability to undertake value engineering activities and implement new technologies where they are implemented to provide costs effective solutions for our clients -Professional approach and demeanour -Third Level Degree in Instrumentation Engineering (NFQ Level 8) or similar discipline -Skilled in project execution, budget control, resource planning and change management
