The Role

Overview

Manage and coordinate all phases of single-family residential real estate transactions.

Tasks

-Responsible for the management and implementation of best practices for transaction management, driving process improvement. -Act as the go-between for all parties ensuring accurate and effective problem-solving of all escrow tracking and closing issues. -Responsible for daily and weekly reporting to senior leadership. -Work with the acquisitions managers while conducting thorough due diligence on potential real estate deals, including market analysis, property inspections, and financial assessments. -Manage calendars and track key contract dates. -Primary contact with vendors supporting transaction process. -Review and process contract cancelations. -Use autonomy when negotiating real estate contracts. -Act as the primary contact for all transaction-related matters. -Work alongside the accounting team to set up and turn on all utilities. -Monitor and coordinate all phases of the real estate transaction process, including offer acceptance, contract review, inspections, appraisals, title searches, closing documents, and coordination of funding. -Identify and mitigate risks associated with real estate transactions. -Review and analyze real estate contracts and related documents. -Ensure all transactions comply with local, state, and federal regulations. -During property sales, coordinate with listing agents for updates and collect key listing data, making updates as necessary. -Responsible for the accuracy of post-close, updated accounting and project management software. -Responsible for the transaction management process and inputting escrow data into the company’s accounting system.

What You Bring

-Active real estate license preferred. -Strong communication and organizational skills. -Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make independent decisions. -5+ years of residential real estate transaction experience required. -An advanced level of experience with Excel is recommended. -Must possess a professional attitude to represent the company positively. -Experience processing transactions on a nationwide level. -Extensive experience in reviewing real estate and mortgage documentation. -Preference for experience with institutional Single Family Rental operators or property management firms focused on institutional Single Family Rental management. -Valid driver’s license (may require occasional driving). -Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet tight deadlines. -Proficient in MS Office Suite and other related software programs.
