Tasks

-Develop weekly and monthly look-ahead schedules to anticipate challenges. -Interpret blueprints and apply NYSDOT standards to guide work. -Oversee all daily site operations, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and safety standards. -Lead foremen and crews with clear communication, daily meetings, and productivity oversight. -Establish strong working relationships with foremen, crews, subcontractors, and suppliers. -Take ownership of daily site operations and productivity goals. -Manage equipment, materials, and project documentation using construction management software. -Drive proactive scheduling and risk management to keep projects moving on track. -Conduct toolbox talks, site inspections, and enforce OSHA regulations to maintain a safe workplace -Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, traffic control, and project engineers.

What You Bring

-Proficiency in blueprint reading and NYSDOT specifications. -OSHA 30, PMP, or other construction management/safety certifications. -Familiarity with budgeting and financial management. -Demonstrated leadership in managing crews and subcontractors. -Strong computer and project scheduling skills. -Proven experience as a Superintendent or Construction Manager in heavy highway or infrastructure projects. -Experience with multi-million-dollar highway/bridge projects. -Commitment to OSHA safety compliance and a safety-first mindset.
