The Role

Overview

Design water/wastewater systems, create plans/specs, model hydraulics, support projects.

Tasks

-Focus on hydraulics and hydrology modeling, stormwater collection systems modeling, data collection, assimilation, and presentations. -Conduct quality control reviews of completed designs -Work under project engineers on the application of various engineering and modeling techniques in the development of water resources projects for federal, state and local municipalities. -Create detailed designs of water and wastewater treatment systems and collection systems under instruction from the Project Engineer -Prepare plans for water and wastewater systems, write specifications, analysis and study-level reports for water and wastewater treatment distribution and collection systems, determine appropriate design methods, equipment sizing and selection, and work directly with the owner

What You Bring

-Microsoft Office experience -Master's degree -Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate -AutoCAD and/or MicroStation experience -Interest or experience designing water/wastewater treatment facilities -Must be able to work in a team environment -Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field

Benefits

-Candidates without their EIT will be placed into a Design Coordinator job code and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression
