Tasks
-Work in a hands-on lab and hardware environment across multiple design and test phases -Lead harness design, testing, troubleshooting, and system integration -Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for production and development issues -Support manufacturing and ensure compliance with EMI, grounding, and continuity standards -Serve as the Harness Responsible Engineer for the launch vehicle program -Develop and review technical documentation including schematics, assembly drawings, and wiring diagrams -Define harness architecture, materials, and routing in coordination with electrical, mechanical, and thermal teams

What You Bring
Location: Bay Area, CA (Hybrid Onsite) | U.S. Persons Only (ITAR Restricted) -Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot wiring issues and document corrective actions -Proficiency with CAD and PLM systems (e.g. Siemens NX, Teamcenter, or equivalents) -Background in aerospace or spaceflight hardware -Exposure to tools like RapidHarness or similar design platforms -Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field -Strong communication skills and cross-functional collaboration experience -Practical mindset around weight, cost, and manufacturability in hardware design -Experience with aerospace materials and manufacturing standards (e.g. IPC/WHMA-A-620, J-STD-001, NASA-STD-8739 series) -5+ years of professional experience in harness design -Strong understanding of wiring schematics, layout constraints, and interface control -Experience designing for vacuum and high-vibration environments -Familiarity with redundancy strategies and high-reliability systems -Work Authorization: Due to U.S. export regulations, applicants must be U.S. Persons (citizen, permanent resident, or protected individual under ITAR)
