The Role

Overview

Design, analyze, and document roadway projects, including plans, estimates, and coordination.

Tasks

-Support preparation of specifications packages -Collaborate with other disciplines on creative solutions to design challenges -Design temporary traffic control plans -Design and analysis of horizontal and vertical alignments -Support preparation and documentation of design deliverables -Calculate quantities and prepare construction cost estimates -Prepare plan, profile, cross section, and detail sheets

What You Bring

-Zero (0) to Two (2) years of experience in transportation design -Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related field -Working knowledge of basic roadway design principals -Strong communication skills and ability to work in teams -Engineering Intern (E.I.) license or ability to obtain within six (6) months -Sidewalk or shared use path design -Innovative intersection design -Familiarity with CADD platforms, design software and Microsoft products
