Overview
Maintain and troubleshoot industrial electrical and automation systems for utility infrastructure.

Tasks
-Prepare technical documentation for internal teams and regulatory agencies. -Maintain and update single-line diagrams and power distribution drawings. -Diagnose issues on the floor involving gauges, meters, panels, and integrated electrical/automation systems. -Program and troubleshoot control systems for utilities: purified water, chilled water, steam, and compressed air. -Conduct thermographic studies and analyze heat data for preventive maintenance. -Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems during scheduled shutdowns, including July 4th. -Collaborate with the automation team on Allen-Bradley VFDs, PLCs, and Wonderware-based BMS. -Own and maintain electrical infrastructure from utility intake through MCC distribution. -Troubleshoot and specify transformers, switchgear, and power systems for new equipment.

What You Bring
-PE (Professional Engineer) license preferred. -Familiarity with Wonderware or AVEVA platforms. -Proficiency with SKM software for arc flash and electrical studies. -Experience integrating building automation systems (BAS/BMS) with utility controls. -Strong familiarity with medium voltage systems (13.2 kV). -Strong cross-functional communication with facilities, automation, and utilities teams. -Hands-on experience with PLCs (Allen-Bradley preferred) and control systems for utility infrastructure. -5–7 years of experience in industrial electrical and automation systems. -Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
