Tasks

-Gear Up and Go: Operate order picking equipment like cherry pickers and reach lifts to efficiently select and pack a variety of products. -The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. -Maintains cleanliness of the overall facility to support safety standards, with an emphasis on the area assigned to the workgroup -Refills shelves and racks from overstock, as needed. -Looks up part numbers, quantities, product locations, and customer information on the computer and/or RF scanner. -Pulls orders from inventory, assigned zones, manually and/or utilizing forklift. -Scan and Pick: Utilize radio frequency (RF) guns to ensure accurate order fulfillment. -Receives orders through supervisor from prepared and prioritized work tags. -Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a cooperative manner with customers, co-workers and managers.

What You Bring

-Ability to recognize and read location, date, and product codes. -Ability to lift items that weigh up to 50 lbs. regularly. This includes carrying, dragging, and walking with materials, as well as using a hand-truck. -Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors) -Ability to work independently and as a member of a team. -Warehouse, plumbing, retail/customer service and forklift experience is also desirable, but not required. -Knowledge of warehouse software packages and MS Office proficiency. -Specific vision abilities required for this job include distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception. -Detail oriented with excellent follow up practices. -High school diploma/GED or equivalent education required. Two or Four-Year college degree in logistics, supply chain management or business administration is preferred. -Strong verbal and written communication skills -Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment. -Ability to input, retrieve and analyze data. -Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills -Prolonged periods of standing or sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
