Tasks

Support project teams during BESS and SCADA commissioning activities Provide day-to-day technical support for operational BESS assets across the portfolio Assist with supplier engagement, technical specifications, and design reviews Conduct fault diagnosis and root cause analysis for asset and grid events Monitor asset performance and analyse system data to identify trends and improvements Troubleshoot issues with suppliers and O&M partners, driving quick and effective resolutions Ensure compliance with grid, G99, and safety standards across all projects As a Battery Energy Storage System Engineer, you’ll play a key role in delivering technical excellence across a growing portfolio of operational and new-build BESS assets. You’ll ensure the optimal performance, reliability, and safety of grid-scale battery systems while supporting project, commercial, and O&M teams. Act as the technical authority for BESS assets, Power Plant Controllers (PPC) and SCADA systems

What You Bring

Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering or a related field (Master’s desirable) Strong technical background in grid-scale BESS, renewable energy, or HV systems Experience with electrical design, installation, or commissioning of energy storage or renewable projects.
