The Role

Overview

Manage revenue billing, settlements and AR for large solar/wind plants and ISO processes.

Tasks

-Provide reports, analyses, trend analyses, or other ad hoc reports as required by both internal and external parties to support legal, regulatory, and commercial requirements. -Responsible for the management of all assigned ISO processes, including data management, reporting, and timely analysis. -Responsible for maintaining all documentation related to settlement processes in support of internal and external audits and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements. -Responsible for all revenue billing and cash applications for all large utility-scale solar and wind projects. -Support the Accounting team with various tasks, including recording settlement activity as part of accounting close, managing regulatory filings and audit requests, and performing trend analyses.

What You Bring

-Ability to work well in a team-oriented, collaborative environment that emphasizes attention to detail, meeting deadlines, and working together to achieve company-wide objectives. -Minimum of 2 years in accounting or finance. -Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting or related field required. -Written and verbal communication skills that enable effective communication with various groups within the company (particularly the Accounting and Asset Management teams). -1-2 years of settlement experience is highly preferred. -Knowledge of accounts receivable (and to a limited extent) accounts payable process -Energy settlements experience with complex structured transactions and RTO/ISO Settlements, and a fundamental understanding of energy trading risk management (ETRM) systems. Responsible for managing the dispute process with the ISO and qualified scheduling entities (QSE). -Previous energy industry experience is preferred. -Analytical and problem-solving skills. -Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, such as queries, pivot tables, and formulas, and proficiency with other Microsoft Office products. -Knowledge of SAP, general financial reporting software, and applicable power and utilities platforms used for invoicing and recording is needed. -Baseline knowledge of the renewable energy industry is preferred.
