Tasks

-Keep company vehicle, tools and equipment clean and orderly, informing management of any safety concerns. -May lift and carry small objects under 20 pounds on a regular basis -Comply with all company policies, procedures and safety requirements. -Work in varying weather conditions and work environments including dusty, wet, loud noises, etc. -Regularly use hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controls; reach and grasp -Occasionally twist, bend, stoop, kneel and crouch to perform duties -Climb intermittently -Provide accurate survey rod readings on the request and direction of surveyor. -Maintain a valid driver's license and maintain an acceptable driving record by complying with standards established by SBCC policy. -Visit work/construction sites for land measurements.

What You Bring

-Intermittent standing and walking -Occasionally reach above shoulder level -Agility, balance, and manual dexterity, as well as arm-hand steadiness -Good vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus -High school diploma/GED preferred. -Excellent hand, eye and foot coordination. -Able to hear and respond to oral instructions -Using basic mathematics and reading numerals. -Must have the ability to stand, crawl and kneel for long periods of time -2 years’ experience assisting in surveying procedures, operations and providing survey rod readings. -Constant physical effort, including extended sitting for at least 8 hour shift
