Tasks

-Support pre-construction efforts, including conceptual budgeting and bid clarifications. -Review drawings, specifications, and project scopes with project management and engineering teams. -Obtain, analyse, and negotiate subcontractor and supplier quotes. -Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates, take-offs, and bid proposals for exterior restoration projects. -Track estimating performance vs. actual costs and participate in post-project reviews. -Maintain and update cost databases, production rates, and estimating templates. -Present bids and recommendations to leadership, highlighting key assumptions, risks, and value options.

What You Bring

-Solid understanding of building envelopes, restoration methods, and materials. -Proficiency with take-off and estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, Plan Swift, Excel). -5+ years of estimating experience within restoration, façade, or exterior construction (NYC experience preferred). -Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills. -Ability to manage multiple bids in a fast-paced environment. -Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
