The Role
Overview
Conduct field biological surveys, collect data, assist with reports, and travel extensively.

Tasks
-Assisting project and task managers with and preparing portions of written reports, tables, spreadsheets, databases, and maps. -Field data collection for permit applications and environmental reports; -GPS data collection and mapping support; -Bat mist-netting and acoustic surveys;

What You Bring
-1+ years (3+ preferred) of experience. -Ability to walk at least 10 miles per day in rough terrain and lift up to 50 lbs. -Willingness to work in team environments or independently. -Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen -Excellent writing and grammar skills -US citizenship or permanent US residency -This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship. -Knowledge of ARGIS Field Maps and Survey 123 -BS in biology, ecology, natural resources, wildlife management, soil science or related field. MS degree a plus. Or equivalent experience. -Driver's License Required: This position requires a valid driver's license and/or the ability to operate a company vehicle due to the nature of job duties, which include frequent travel to various client locations across a large geographical area. -Willingness to travel and conduct fieldwork in potentially remote areas for extended periods (1-4 weeks)
