Tasks
-Combine / Review Estimates -Assist in Value Management Exercises -Compile & Review all Take-Off and Pricing -Use hands to type, handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or control. -Review All Tab Sheets -Lead Tab Sheet Review -Support operations team members in developing a job cost budget -Establish Work Teams -Create Subcontractor solicitation Lists -Occasionally lift, pull, or move up to 25 lbs. -Develop Bid Strategies for Projects -Assists in the RMP process (ATP - precon forecasters & ATB Reviews) -Review all sub-lists with operations team members; Assist in complying with prequalification standards -Make Assignments -Deliver Constructability Review, System Analysis, and Value Management -Assist with Negotiating Subcontracts and Purchasing All Major Aspects of the Project -Develop Owner Deliverables; Estimate Summary, Estimate Detail, Clarifications -Ensure Coverage on All Scopes of Work -Attends client/design meetings -Manage Turnover or Transition Meetings -Solicit Vendors

What You Bring
-Knowledge of Estimating & Takeoff Software -20-time Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) Accredited Quality Contractor (AQC) -8 years of industry experience -Ability to understand and follow directions -Experience with delivering stellar preconstruction services to clients & managing the budget -Time management skills and organizational skills -Ability to Utilize BIM for Quantity Take-Offs -Ability to communicate effectively to participate fully in meetings, video conferences, and phone calls. -Ability to repeat the same movements. -Occasional travel will be required, primarily in the metropolitan area but sometimes domestically (must have a valid Driver’s License). -Ability to accurately obtain quantities & compile estimates -Ability to read drawings and specifications -Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times -Strong written and verbal communication skills -Bachelor’s Degree- Construction Management, Engineering or equivalent. May substitute required education degree with related experience on a one-to-one basis -Ability to meet critical deadlines -Knowledge of Autodesk Software -Familiarity with logistics and operations -Knowledge and efficiency in Manhattan software -Strong conceptual estimating skills -Ability to physically stand, bend, sit for long periods, and squat throughout the day. -Strong networking ability, known in the community -Strong math/accounting skills
