The Role
Overview
Maintain, repair, and improve manufacturing equipment and forklift/PIT systems
Key Responsibilities

Tasks
-Troubleshoot issues to component level for Fanuc, Siemens, Allen Bradley, and other controller brands. -Use various material handling equipment such as hoists, carts, lifts, and fork trucks. -Communicate consistently with internal customers regarding the status of equipment in the shop. -Follow all safety protocols while performing facilities duties. -Conduct major electrical, mechanical, and construction repairs and installations, interpreting schematics and blueprints as necessary. -Drive the implementation of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) within the business operating systems. -Utilize the computer maintenance management system to maintain equipment records, work order history, and parts inventory. -Determine the root cause of failures and recommend preventative actions. -Maintain a clean work area and ensure all tools are in good working order. -Participate in continuous improvement efforts. -Perform regular maintenance and repairs on forklifts and PIT/PIV.

What You Bring
-Knowledge Trane Technologies operating system -3 years Mechanical exp.; 3-6 yrs. electrical/electronic/mechanical/controls -Minimum 3+ years manufacturing experience and Forklift/PIT maintenance -High School Diploma or GED, College, or Technical school preferred -Proficiency in using a PC to drive consistency and effectiveness of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). -Experience with electrical, welding, fabricating, mechanical, hydrologic repairs, etc. -Knowledge of PLC’s, servo controls, relay logic a plus -Knowledge of electrical safety, electrical print reading, and standard control circuits (pushbutton, relays, etc.). -Ability to work with minimal supervision and demonstrate self-directed work skills. -Experience in forklift and PIT/PIV maintenance is a must. -Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds in a team environment. -Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while handling multiple priorities.
