The Role
Overview
Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and reporting on solar power facilities.

Tasks
-Ensure all work is completed in compliance with environmental and safety regulations. -Participate in meetings, both in person and remotely. -May be required to work around rotating and energized equipment, hazardous materials, and chemicals. -Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment. -Prepare and submit timely reports. -Accurately document site issues and their resolutions. -Record work time in designated software systems. -Respond to site dispatches to troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions or failures. -Travel to various sites as requested, including occasional long-distance or overnight trips.

What You Bring
-Able to build and maintain positive working relationships across diverse teams and locations. -Proficient with basic electrical equipment. -Normal plant and/or office environment, including working at heights, high/low ambient temperatures, and high humidity areas. -Problem-solver who adds value through initiative and responsiveness. -Full use of hands, arms, shoulders, back, and visual acuity including depth and color perception. -Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations. -Requires use of protective safety equipment (i.e., respirators, safety glasses, hard hat, appropriate footwear, ear plugs, and more). -Strong verbal and written communication skills across all organizational levels. -Skilled in summarizing and presenting key information. -Proficient in Microsoft Office with the ability to learn new software programs. -Ability to lift, push, and pull materials up to 50 lbs. -Requires standing, sitting, walking, kneeling, twisting, climbing stairs and ladders, and entering plant equipment to access, inspect, or collect data on plant equipment. -Two or more years of experience in a power plant or PV Solar O&M/EPC experience. -Strong hands-on technical abilities. -Flexible and reliable, with the ability to work overtime, nights, and travel as needed. -Capable of standing, walking, squatting, crawling, and working in confined or awkward spaces for extended periods. -Committed to workplace safety, with the ability to follow and improve existing standards. -Able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. -Strong interpersonal skills with a professional, honest, and approachable communication style.
