The Role

Overview

Assist senior estimators with mechanical cost estimates and take‑offs for projects.

Tasks

-Help compile technical and commercial documentation for tender submissions. -Assist in preparing preliminary cost estimates and quantity assessments. -Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations as instructed. -Ensure all work complies with project specifications, company procedures, and cost targets. -Perform detailed Material Take-Offs (MTOs) for mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, and fire-fighting. -Support senior estimators in value engineering, cost optimization, and risk assessments. -Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications to understand project scope. -Perform additional tasks and support as assigned by senior estimators or project managers.

What You Bring

-Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, installation methods, and materials. -Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent. -1–3 years of experience in MEP estimation, preferably in construction, data center, or food & beverage projects. -Willingness to learn and work under the guidance of senior estimators and managers. -Good analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
