The Role

Overview

Perform HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance for a multifamily community.

Tasks

-Respond to and resolve service requests from residents in a timely and professional manner. -Document all repairs and maintenance activities accurately for record-keeping and reporting purposes. -Assist in maintaining the community’s curb appeal by performing tasks such as litter removal, landscaping upkeep, and ensuring the exterior of the property is well-maintained. -Maintain a clean and organized work environment, keeping maintenance areas, tools, and equipment in top condition. -Perform general building inspections to identify and address maintenance issues proactively. -Work with vendors for more specialized repairs or services, ensuring quality work within budget. -Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions, diagnosing issues and providing effective solutions. -Perform general maintenance repairs in areas such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and appliances. -Complete preventive maintenance tasks to ensure systems are functioning at optimal levels. -Coordinate with the Maintenance Manager and other team members to prioritize and complete daily maintenance activities. -Follow all safety protocols and building codes, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. -Assist in apartment turnover processes by ensuring units are ready for new residents, including repairs, touch-ups, and inspections. -Assist in special projects as needed.

Valid driver’s license and insurance are required. -Proficiency with property management software, apps, and general computer programs. -Exceptional customer service skills and a professional, customer-focused attitude. -Minimum of 1 years of experience in multifamily property maintenance.
