Shipping/Receiving Clerk (FDIC)

Overview

Oversee loading dock, log shipments, maintain area cleanliness, and assist carriers.

Tasks

-Organize/sort any overnight packages to be picked up by mailroom. (Log in delivery log and CMMS (eFOS+). -Assist trucks in any questions or issues that may arise -When dumpsters are removed, sweep area prior to dumpster returning -All deliveries/packages are to be recorded on the delivery log sheets and entered daily into the CMMS (eFOS+) ticket. -Sign for all FedEx and UPS packages. (Log) -Once a week (Fridays) wash down loading dock lower area and all diamond plate coverings. -Check all dock lifts to ensure proper operation; Ensure edge of lifts are in the up position when not in-use to avoid damage by trucks. Report any issues to supervisor(s) -Tour loading dock beginning of each shift, looking for leaks, trash, dirt/debris. -Sweep dock areas. -Tour dock during day addressing any spills, oil leaks from vehicles. Apply oil dry if needed, sweep when dry.
