Overview

Collect field data, perform surveys, and support design for utility projects.

Tasks

-Provide alternatives to completing specific projects. -Prepare work orders and materials specifications. -Acquire necessary permits and State approvals. -Perform field surveys and stakeouts. -Conduct field measurements and/or field survey to produce base plans for engineering design. -Input data into the SAP WMS and SmartMap systems, GIS, others and reconcile project completions -Utilize computer services as required in surveying and mapping activities -Complete preliminary surveying and layouts.

What You Bring

-Ability to accurately collect data -Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills -Must have current US Work authorization and valid US Driver License in good standing -Knowledge of GPS Systems preferred -Microsoft Word and Microsoft Project or Equivalent -Must be willing to travel to construction sites on a day-to-day basis, walking site to site, and attend meetings as needed -Bachelor’s degree preferred, minimum of High School Diploma required.
