Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies.
Performs daily spot checks of Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) for each assigned crew to ensure safe work practices.
Contributes to the development of test procedures for individual component and integrated system testing.
Conducts and actively participates in daily safety meetings, promoting a culture of safety awareness and accountability.
Assists in the creation of work packages related to system testing activities.
Executes system and equipment checkout, ensuring compliance with OEM specifications, system descriptions, and industry best practices.
Performs troubleshooting and fault isolation on mechanical and process systems; recommends solutions and provides detailed written reports of findings.
Conducts commissioning and testing of components, subsystems, and fully integrated systems to ensure compliance with contractual and functional requirements
Verifies availability of spare parts and consumables necessary for operation of assigned systems.
Supports the development of scoped turnover packages and associated documentation for system handover.
Conducts drawing reviews to verify design accuracy and alignment with field installations.
Participates in system walk-downs, performing construction process assessments and identifying deficiencies or punch list items.
Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required.
Monitors progress of assigned systems and provides timely status updates to the Commissioning Manager.
Leads and enforces strict compliance with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and all applicable safety policies.
Supports the maintenance and updating of drawings and databases to ensure accurate “As-Built” records.
Promotes and upholds good housekeeping standards in both office and field environments.

Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment
Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university or technical institution, or equivalent job-related experience. Preference given to candidates with both home office and field execution experience.
Strong technical knowledge of detailed design engineering processes and all major categories of mechanical systems.
Work productively and meet deadlines timely
Minimum of 15 years’ experience in industrial, gas processing, refinery, and/or petrochemical sectors.
Regular, reliable attendance
At least 5 years of hands-on experience in detailed mechanical systems engineering, including leadership roles or technical specialization.
Must be able to work a rotating shift schedule as required by project demands.
Demonstrated experience working within EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) project environments.
