  • Coordination of CAD design technologists to prepare designs ensuring quality procedures are followed
  • Support the development of stormwater servicing plans
  • Develop rainwater source control LID concepts and assist in LID designs
  • Develop and maintain positive client, subconsultant, and approving authority relationships
  • Coordination with project managers on site design, budget, scheduling, proposals and related technical documents
  • Perform hydrological and hydraulic modelling, including data collection, design review, model setup and calibration, and system assessment
  • Provide technical analysis in support of Civil engineering design associated with municipal or rural stormwater systems and stormwater management facilities
  • Provide quality control and peer review on colleagues' projects

  • Strong software skills: using hydrologic/hydraulic modeling software such as PCSWMM, XPSWMM, HEC-RAS, SWMHYMO, Civil 3D as well as Excel, Word, and Bluebeam
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Experienced in infrastructure master planning, flood management, or river modelling is an asset
  • Registration as a professional engineer (P.Eng.) or EIT with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in assessment, modeling, and detailed design of stormwater systems. Detailed design experience in general municipal engineering, transportation, or community development projects
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and technical writing skills
