Tasks

-Prepare permit sets and coordinate with local authorities for approvals -Sheet layout, setup of model space and paper space -Read and interpret design drawings, construction specifications, building and zoning codes, and technical documents to produce accurate drawings -Visit project sites for field reviews, measurements, and on-site inspections as needed -Prepare schematic design models, 3D Models, illustrations, and renderings for presentation and planning -Drawing setup for preliminary and construction plan sets -Assist in developing detailed construction drawings and architectural representations -This role involves collaboration with consultants to ensure design excellence and project delivery -Create preliminary and full construction plan sets for multifamily developments -Produce drawing and document packages in accordance with the design standards -Independently create designs for projects, including: -Takes full responsibility for actions and works collaboratively to find solutions. -Research and interpret local zoning codes, ordinances, and regulations to support project compliance -Collaborate cross-functionally with design, development, and construction teams to ensure project success -Participate in project meetings with clients, contractors, and internal teams -Management of XREFs, incorporation of red lines, and revisions provided by the Project Manager

Must be willing to work and support at all levels. -Ability to think 2+ steps ahead and anticipate what comes next. -Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills -Ability to listen and understand intents and goals. -Professional working experience in this type of role is required -Proficiency in AutoCAD (required); experience with Revit, SketchUp, or Bluebeam is a plus -Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field -Able to work in unison with a team. -Strong understanding of construction drawings, zoning codes, and design standards -Willingness to travel occasionally for site visits and inspections -Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment -Strong graphic, technical writing, problem-solving, and technical communication skills
