Overview

Create detailed plumbing drawings using AutoCAD MEP for mechanical construction projects.

Tasks

-Maintain an organized filing system of drawings and documentation for easy access and revision tracking. -Perform quantity take-offs and basic estimations if required. -Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD MEP, and other relevant software. -Draft Plumbing shop drawings, sections, and elevations based on sketches, field notes, and design data. -Assist in preparing as-built drawings post project completion. -Ensure drawings comply with local codes, standards, and project specifications. -Coordinate with PM and construction teams to gather and interpret project data. -Revise and update drawings as per client or engineer feedback.

What You Bring

-Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future*** -Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. -Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings. -Excellent written and verbal skills. -Strong understanding of construction processes and materials. -Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Drafting, or related field from an accredited university desired. HS Diploma required. -5 years of experience as a Draftsman in a construction environment. -Proficiency in AutoCAD MEP, Revit , and Microsoft Office Suite. -NO STAFFING AGENCY CANDIDATES WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION***
