Tasks

-Completing Flood Risk Assessments and input into Environmental Impact Assessments to support planning applications. You will have an established understanding of flood risk management and national planning policy. -Hydrological modelling using FEH methods to estimate peak river flows and flood hydrographs using ReFH2 and WINFAP -Linked 1D/2D hydraulic modelling using Flood Modeller, ESTRY/TUFLOW software packages. Completion of modelling studies assessing the risk of fluvial, pluvial flood risk, including flood mitigation modelling.

What You Bring

-Experience using other hydraulic modelling packages such as HEC-RAS, Infoworks ICM (desirable) -Experience using GIS software such as QGIS, ArcGIS, MapInfo -Experience providing support and training to junior team members, including review of work
