Utility 1st Class-Base (UEPB)

Overview

Perform utility maintenance and repairs across plant, including HVAC, boiler, etc.

Tasks

-Installs, operates, repairs, overhauls, constructs & modifies any utilities equipment as needed. -Completes projects with little or no supervision. -Performs HVAC, carpentry, painting, masonry, and boiler maintenance duties. -Performs preventive and predictive maintenance on utilities systems, buildings, & grounds. -Maintain a clean work environment. -Performs duties assigned in the Utilities area.

What You Bring

-Must be able to pass a pre-employment background and drug screen -WorkKeys scores of at least: Workplace Observation (3), Workplace Documentation (3) Graphics Literacy (3) and Applied Technology (3) -Be able to work various shifts and days of the week, including overtime. We have 12 hour rotating shifts -HS Diploma/GED Technical Certificate preferred -One - two years' experience with utility equipment such as boiler systems, HVAC, compressors, natural gas and propane systems, stem systems, sewage systems, plumbing systems, fire prevention systems, or other similar equipment systems -Must be able to push, pull, reach, bend, squat, twist, turn, climb, work overhead, wear required PPE, and work in a hot, confined environment -Must have 5 years industrial utility maintenance experience or a degree in Industrial Maintenance and Advanced HVAC -Skilled in the use of all shop tools and equipment.
