Tasks

Contribute to design reviews and lessons-learned sessions. Complete design validation through CAE/simulations, prototyping, and physical testing. Research emerging technologies and materials to enhance component performance. Provide design direction for component CAD and approval of engineering drawings for PTSE components (Lead Engineer or Project Engineer roles) Create detailed CAD models and engineering drawings for PTSE components (CAD Engineer roles) Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for design-related issues. Drive cost reduction and weight optimisation initiatives without compromising quality. Ensure designs comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal specifications.

What You Bring

Experience with FEA, DFMEA, and design validation tools. Automotive Engineering experience (OEM or Tier 1) – preferred PTSE commodities, minimum a Powertrain commodity. Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and automotive systems. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills Demonstrated commitment to customer love, unity, integrity, growth, impact Full UK driving licence (for roles based onsite in the UK). Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field Familiarity with 3Dx or PLM systems (e.g., Teamcenter, TRM).
