Oversees maintenance, housekeeping, and facilities for senior living, winery, and office.
-Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety codes, regulations, and inspections. -Respond to emergency and on-call maintenance needs; serve as part of the Manager on Duty rotation. -Represent Building Services in leadership meetings and committees, contributing to organizational success. -Maintain strong vendor and contractor relationships; oversee bidding and project execution. -Oversee facility maintenance, housekeeping, and custodial operations across three distinct locations. -Lead, mentor, and supervise building services staff; foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and customer service. -Develop and manage operating and capital budgets, including cost forecasting and resource allocation. -Coordinate preventative and deferred maintenance, construction projects, remodels, and refurbishments. -Ensure safe, efficient operation of all building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety, and winery-related systems.
-Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Excel. -Certifications such as CFM (IFMA), CHFM (ASHE), or FMC (BOMI) strongly preferred. -Bachelor’s degree in engineering, industrial management, construction management, or related field, and 7+ years’ experience in facilities management; OR equivalent combination of education and progressively responsible experience. -Familiarity with winery/event space operations preferred. -5+ years of leadership experience managing staff in maintenance, housekeeping, or related functions. -Strong knowledge of building systems: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire/life safety, carpentry, painting, and more. -Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between locations.
