Overview

Assemble and test valve components, operating tools and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-Prepares valve assemblies and parts for testing, including driving studs, hand tapping, and general light assembly -Performs minor maintenance of tools, and makes minor adjustments to equipment operated -Assist test set-up -Operates forklift and other rigging equipment -Participates and complies with all safety standards and training -Maintains work area in a clean and orderly condition -Operates drill presses and hand grinders, and uses some mechanics; hand tools are required to assisting to correct balances and to remove excess metals. -Assist in monitoring inventory and physical inventory counts when needed.
