Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-Attending site to inspect in progress and completed construction works. -Reviewing drawings, responding to RFI’s and resolving on-site issues. -Lead and deliver projects across multiple disciplines. -Continue improving designs by keeping abreast of the latest technologies and practices. -Maintaining accurate electronic reporting and submission of all advice, relevant information, and forms. -Preparing design calculations, drawings, specifications, and reports. -Working closely with relevant stakeholders to ensure all projects are managed effectively and producing high quality designs. -Attending project meetings with clients. -Preparing concept design, schematic design, design development, tender and construction documentation.

What You Bring

-Well-honed knowledge in the interpretation and application of Australian standards and building codes. -Minimum 5+ years’ experience in the building services electrical discipline within Australia across major market sectors including residential, commercial, retail, hospitality and education. -Exceptional influencing and negotiating skills working with a variety of people from all walks of life including an ability of quickly build rapport and gain trust. -Registered on the National Engineering Register as an electrical engineer. -Strong organisational and time management skills allowing you to juggle a range of interesting projects at any one time. -Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent in electrical or building services. -An inquisitive mindset that is always looking for ways to be innovative in problem solving.
