  • Work closely with the commercial sales organization to maximize promotional opportunities to close bid projects.
  • Provide timely response to architects, designers and specifies as follow up to direct e-mail, phone and web inquires.
  • Identify and communicate emerging market and/or product needs to the product management group.
  • Review and understand architectural design drawings to provide appropriate technical solutions for project specific requirements.
  • Utilize the company website to assist design professionals.
  • Promote new products whenever possible.
  • Counsel customers on matters of product selection, product application and installation processes.
  • Provide standard, modified and custom detail information to design professionals for project specific requirements.

  • This position will operate in person in a professional office environment in Harrisonburg, VA.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in technical sales, product engineering, product development, or application engineering.
  • Have basic knowledge of structural engineering principles and concepts.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with both internal and external customers.
  • 2 years of experience in technical sales, product engineering, product development, or application engineering.
  • Proven ability to work well in a team environment, fostering cooperation and teamwork.
  • Associates degree from an accredited institution.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering or Construction from an accredited institution.
  • Possess the ability to read and understand architectural construction documents and specifications.
  • Must be results oriented with the ability to multi-task and work independently.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
