The Role

Overview

Supervise foundry maintenance team, plan/execute repairs, safety, and project management.

Tasks

-Develop long range preventative, routine maintenance, and training plans for employees. -Monitor and enforce safety and housekeeping practices including hazardous waste disposal. -Coordinate contractors for projects or repairs -Consult with Production Operations to determine production needs and maintenance support. -Work directly with the Foundry Maintenance team, and Foundry team. -Perform the following audit types: Parts Audits, PM Audits -Directly involved in new hire process for department, coaching employees, and progressive discipline. -Plan daily and weekly activities of maintenance department. -Coordinate emergency repairs and monitor maintenance parts, and materials as needed for emergency repairs. -Make appropriate recommendations for corrective actions based on hazards, procedural discrepancies, deterioration of equipment, schedule maintenance activities, update PMs for efficiency and improvements.
