Tasks

-Responsible for developing and implementing strategies for timely and cost-effective completion of projects. -Identifying potential risks, assessing their impact on the project, and developing strategies to mitigate or manage these risks effectively. -Responsible for general operational oversight and completion of large commercial and industrial construction projects. -Successfully wins over internal and external customers. -Leading and managing the project team through the successful completion of projects. -Provide project status updates to the management team regularly. -Prioritizing and enforcing safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment. -Developing and maintaining relationships with key customers. -Ensuring that the project adheres to quality standards and specifications, conducting inspections, and implementing quality assurance and quality control processes. -Participation in strategic and operational initiatives to enhance, grow, and improve the company. -Addressing and resolving issues and challenges that arise during construction, making informed decisions, and preventing delays or disruptions.

What You Bring

-Knowledge of safety best practices and procedures. -Experience with different contract delivery methods is preferred. -History of managing large commercial and industrial construction project. -Completed OSHA 30 training preferred. -Ability to anticipate the opportunities, implications, and consequences of situations and take appropriate action in order to create the best possible future outcomes. -Strong situational awareness: Grasps concept of conversation even it is an area outside their expertise and reads the dynamics of a room and modifies their behavior accordingly. -Understands “owning the whole before owning your piece”. -Ability to analyze and understand the organization’s competitive position and develop strategies to help the organization win. -Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management -Ability to prioritize, pivot with unexpected changes, handle multiple tasks and respond quickly to requests of customers and superintendents. -Ability to win the support of important stakeholders for ideas, proposals, projects, and solutions. Able to influence others to commit to a course of action. -Ability to effectively implement strategies needed for the organization’s future success. -Ability to identify client needs and manage the work from conceptual stage through completion. -Ability to build a cohesive team that achieves extraordinary results working together. Works with team members to build the five attributes essential to a cohesive team: building trust, mastering conflict, achieving commitment, embracing accountability, and focusing on results. -Exceptional listening and communication skills (written and verbal). -Strong and relevant computer skills. -12-15 years of experience working in the construction industry and project management. -Ability to work through problems (technical/non-technical) in a crisis, make decisions, and provide clear directions. Recognizes and asks questions to seek to understand and drive to a conclusion.
