Tasks

-Assist in case management of incidents -Educate/train Fabrication and Prefab labor about safety measures -Perform Fabrication area inspections (reports) -Maintain accident reports/records -Work with building maintenance to ensure safety protocols are being followed and reports are completed -Assist in set-up of safety protocols and processes for Fabrication and Prefabrication under the direction of Safety Director -Write initial incident reports (by occurrence) -Ensure company safety policies and procedures are followed -Manage crane lift plans and maintenance schedules -Maintain Fabrication and Prefabrication Safety Committee -Maintain emergency response plan for Fabrication area -Assist in post-incident investigations

What You Bring

-Outstanding attention to detail and observation ability -Experience with fabrication style gantry crane preferred -Excellent organizational and time-management skills -Working knowledge of legal health and safety guidelines -EMT or equivalent certification preferred -Proven knowledge of risk assessment -Good communication, interpersonal abilities and motivational skills -Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment -2 years of proven safety experience (fabrication preferred) -BSc/BA in safety management or relevant is preferred -Good knowledge of MS Office Suite -Ability to effectively work as a team member -OSHA 10 & 30, 1910
