Tasks

-Following the plumber's orders and instructions -Addressing client queries -Use hands to handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms. -Determining the appropriate tools and equipment for each job -Supporting the plumber to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local plumbing codes -Cleaning the job site after work is completed -Repairing or replacing pipes and components -Locating and identifying leaks -Assisting in preparing cost estimates for clients -Climbing ladders, accessing attics, navigating tight spaces, driving, entering crawlspaces, pushing, carrying, pulling, using hand tools, and performing fine detail work.

-Work Ethic: Reliable and punctual, with a commitment to maintaining a regular work schedule. -Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent. -Working in various environments, including indoor and outdoor settings, attics, crawlspaces. -Team Player: Willingness to assist others, take direction, and work as part of a team to complete plumbing projects. -Ability to drive. -Work Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or overtime, as needed. -Driver’s License: Valid driver's license with reliable transportation to job sites and 3 years of driving experience -Ability to stand, walk and sit; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone. -Willingness to Learn: Strong desire to develop skills and knowledge in the plumbing trade, with the ability to follow instructions and learn from experienced plumbers. -Regularly stoop, kneel, bend, and crouch. -Lifting 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally -Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality in all tasks. -The work requires regular exposure to extreme temperatures both indoors and outdoors, such as heat or cold, and adverse weather conditions such as wind, rain, ice or snow. -Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age. -Licensing: Ability to obtain any required apprentice plumbing licenses or permits based on local or state regulations. -TSBPE license as Texas apprentice -Safety Awareness: Basic understanding of workplace safety and a commitment to following safety guidelines and procedures. -Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and customers. -Physical Ability: Capable of performing physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy materials, working in confined spaces, climbing ladders, and standing for extended periods. Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for handling tools and equipment. -Basic Math Skills: Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, including measurements and conversions, to assist with accurate installations. -Reliable, Year-Round Work
