The Role
Overview
Drive and maintain mixer trucks, load/unload materials, ensure safety and compliance.

Tasks
-Lift and move objects weighing up to 25-50 lbs as needed. -Always follow all company policies and safety procedures. -Ensure product quality through proper handling procedures. -Monitor vehicle gauges during operation and maintain accurate mileage logs. -Operate equipment safely and efficiently in diverse conditions. -Maintain regular and reliable attendance. -Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment. -Regularly sit, climb, and use hand signals or equipment; occasionally stand, walk, crawl, kneel, bend, stoop, crouch, or reach above shoulder height. -Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles with proper documentation in accordance with DOT guidelines. -Keep vehicles clean and organized. -Perform minor servicing and maintenance of equipment; escalate major issues to supervisors. -Professional interaction with customers, including payment collection and issue resolution. -Operate heavy, complex equipment with skill and independent judgment.

What You Bring
-The ability to learn and demonstrate operational skills with mixer trucks and related equipment. -Comprehend and follow verbal and written instructions. -Ability to work up to six days per week, including significant overtime (55-70 hours/week), per DOT ready mix exemption laws. -Comfortable working in all weather conditions; exposed to jobsite hazards such as moving machinery, high places, airborne particles, and loud environments. -Work primarily outdoors, often in extreme weather and environmental conditions. -At least 18 years of age. -Successful completion of DOT physical, drug screening, and criminal background check. -Frequently required to climb, balance, and perform tasks involving physical agility. -Ability to obtain a valid CDL permit. -Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) must meet company and DOT standards. -Familiarity with securing heavy equipment and oversized loads. -Compliance with OSHA, MSHA, and DOT regulations. -Must obtain a CDL B Permit from the local DMV. -Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. -Must have specific vision abilities, including close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, to operate equipment safely. -Adhere to applicable laws and dispatch instructions. -Willingness to travel and work away from home as required. -Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by OSHA/MSHA, including face shield, safety shoes, and safety vest. -Work well independently and as part of a team, maintaining attention to detail. -Possession of a valid DOT medical card. -High school diploma or GED required. -Maintain a current driver’s license meeting state and company requirements (CDL, Class B). -Basic reading, writing, and math skills for records and project documents. -Team player willing to assist co-workers and supervisors as needed.
