Tasks

The Assistant Project Manager – Design supports the Design Manager in coordinating and managing all stages of architectural and engineering design projects. This role ensures design quality, timely delivery, and seamless coordination among multidisciplinary teams, in full alignment with Dar Al Riyadh’s design standards and client requirements. -Prepare meeting agendas and set up project-related meetings. -Support the preparation of project schedules, progress reports, and project documentation. -Assist the Project Manager in preparing the Project Management Plan and maintaining project documentation. -Issue minutes of meeting (MoM) and follow up on agreed action items. -Coordinate between architecture, structural, mechanical, electrical, and infrastructure disciplines to ensure design integration and consistency. -Follow up on design outputs to ensure alignment with client objectives, budgets, and schedules. -Track and monitor design progress, highlighting potential risks or delays. -Participate in design coordination meetings and assist in resolving design-related issues. -Follow up with sub-consultants on deliverables, progress reports, and invoices. -Maintain accurate records of design changes, approvals, and communications. -Communicate effectively with internal teams, consultants, and clients to ensure smooth project execution. -Ensure design and management processes are properly implemented in accordance with company procedures. -Assist in planning, organizing, and managing the design process from initiation to completion. -Collect proposals for outsourced services and coordinate with the commercial team for procurement and contracts.

What You Bring

-Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple design packages simultaneously. -Strong technical knowledge of design processes, industry codes, and standards. -Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills. -Minimum 5 years of professional experience in design coordination or project management within a design consultancy environment. -Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline. -Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Office (knowledge of scheduling tools such as Primavera or MS Project is an advantage).
